I do not think so Craig I do this with all my equipment that I have. It only takes a few minutes to apply. As you see it was very very dry needed moisture. peter lena 9,309 #19 Posted September 24, 2020 RETIRED WRENCHER, as you are so aware just applying a lubrication based rub down oil , of any type stops and starts the reversal of neglect and recovery of a paint . i notice more than other paints ,the w/h base paint , really responds to the oil rub down. i have taken dull faded paint and regularly oil rubbed it down , noticing the clear and shinny paint coming thru. my next step on the finish is to go to a cleaner wax , that really gets it going, the oil feeding to recovery is the simplest and easiest way to make your paint shine, ( if you want to ) , your pictures say it all , pete 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
