Cid Vance 1 #1 Posted September 3, 2020 Am in the process or rebuilding the Kohler K-161T on my WH 704. The spec shows a bore of 2-15/16". My engine measures 2-7/8". I have a Kohler K-160 that bore measures 2-7/8". Seems as if Kohler made a running change on the K-161 to increase bore size. Also the 2-7/8" bore K-160 list horsepower at 6.6. My K-161 also has a fuel pump which I believe go be diaphragm operated as the is no pump lever. Are these pumps still available? Thanks...Cid, Mass I'll llon, Ohio
ebinmaine 72,671 #2 Posted September 3, 2020 Just in case I haven't already said so somewhere else, welcome to Redsquare!! I can't answer your questions about the piston size but I do know those diaphragms for those vacuum type pumps are available from one of our members. @buckrancher Brian. Him and his wife switch between two houses during the summer so be patient with getting a response from him.
