Hmmm. Ive seen this one before. It's been circulating for at least two years.

Hey! Where'd the drilling rig go?

If I recall correctly the drilling rig and the storm were not even in the same states.

But don't get me wrong. If I saw this thing coming my way there would be more dust coming off my shoes than there is from the twister!

Well of course it's fake... Why else would the surpise tornado be in the center of the image? Photoshop and even MS Paint can create some amazing images. You know how email forwards are... I just thought it was a cool picture and would share it, now that we're getting into thunderstorm/tornado season.

Thanks, Duff. There is one thing I'm afraid of - and that's tornados. This time of year, especially, I'm always alert for these things. Last night, there were 5 confirmed tornados in Missouri, killing 3 people. Last week there were a few more, destroying homes, business, barns, etc. In that snopes article above, there were 44 reported in Missouri in March, 2006. I been near two F4's, and a couple of F2s. It's real ironic Jason posted this just after last night when we were all on pins and needles with the severe weather around us.

There were two killed and several injured just a few miles south of me a few days ago. It was an EF-3 that covered 19 miles in 23 minutes.

Who else remembers 04-03-74?

T-Mo, The real scary thing about tornados is when you see that after doing everything right people still dont make it. One I remember is a picture of a house gone to the foundation and even the basement hadnt been safe.

We are currently under a Tornado watch here in Ohio.
