TonyToro 1,123 #1 Posted August 19, 2020 My buddy has a 267h and the steering linkage that runs between the 2 tires broke. Does anyone have one or know what models interchange with it or know an alternate fix? I looked through all my parts but my tractors all have shorter steering rods. His measures approx 20”. any help would be appreciated. yes....I did tell him to join the forum....lol
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,522 #2 Posted August 19, 2020 Left and right are different. Left and right are always from the operator's position in the seat. If you can get his model number and serial and the specific part he needs it may be possible to determine what other models used it. Garry
squonk 43,940 #3 Posted August 19, 2020 I take it the stud broke on the non-threaded end? I had a 210-h Thad did this. Cut the rod and weld a threaded stud on. The use a threaded ball end on the stud. You can adjust the length.
TonyToro 1,123 #4 Posted August 19, 2020 I asked him to send me a picture of what broke.

I’m waiting for him to get me serial number. from what he explained to me I was thinking the rod from the steering went to one tire and a longer rod went from that tire to the other tire...I was definitely mistaken...lol

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,522 #8 Posted August 19, 2020 Here is the correct parts list so the part can be identified. Always like to get the correct list because changes can occur between the start of the model production and the end. 1996-1998 Garry
