neglected horses are ugly, but the opportunity to part them out or make one into a runner is up to you. if you have a ton of stuff going on ,  probably the easiest way out will be the most appealing , pete

And that is why I do my best work in the dark. .

What is it with you Wheelhorse guys and taking tires off anyway. My junker came with 3 tires. Where do all these tires go???

And for $300. I'd be in your same boat. Well done

$270 for a couple of 42"SDs, a clevis hitch, a  sleeve hitch, and some mule drives.      You did OK.

Oh yeah,  and three free tractors.    :handgestures-thumbupright:

The mower deck on the 416 had me puzzled when I first got it off the machine. All the mounting hardware had surface rust and patina. When i got the deck cleaned up I realized that it recently had a new deck shell installed. The blades have not been resharpened and still have most of their paint as does the bottom of deck.

@JAinVA Jim if you want to unload any of those great machines. You can drive west for about an hour , unload them in my back yard. I'll even stand around and watch you work.:ROTF:

If you can't make one out of three it's time to quit buying.

Projects indeed but the parts far out-value the cost of acquisition IMHO..

Doing better than my poor old 516, though!

The thing I find totally amazing is that all three have good tail lights!   Everything I get has busted tail lights, previous owners must have never backed up.  :ychain:

Do I see a Maytag twin in the corner of the pic? I have several singles and twins.Never got any of them running.Did yours start with the help of the PTO belt??Or were trying to start the tractor off of the Maytag?? Haha.

Wish I had a whole picture of it, but that is indeed a Maytag 72d twin on a small White Mountain Freezer ice cream rig.

Got tired of footing it over and the WH is nifty for belting over all sorts of stubborn equipment:D
