ZX500 0 #1 Posted July 15, 2020 Hello haven't been here in a while. My 265h sometimes doesnt start. Turn key and nothing. Now with key on run if I pull the pto switch to on it will click then I push it back in turn key to start and it starts right up. Is this the pto switch a relay or the pro itself? Ps bypassing seat switch to rule out Thanks Also how can I find an old topic on same machine for low voltage module?

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,561 #3 Posted July 15, 2020 Happen to be in the middle of adding color to the wiring pages for this model. What is done is now with the file above. I disconnected one relay as I don't think this model uses it. Added color to wires that go to switches and relays but are not used in each illustration. The reason I did that is you have no way of knowing what relay does what. This way you can identify them by the colors that go to the component. Still have 2 pages to do. Keep us posted with your progress. Garry
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,561 #4 Posted July 15, 2020 Finished coloring the wiring. If you need to test the pto switch the procedure is in this file Garry
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,561 #5 Posted July 16, 2020 Could use your help here or from anyone that has this model. The large schematic does not match the detailed drawings at the starter. They may be confusing a start relay with the starter solenoid or it may have both. What colors are the small wires going to the starter solenoid? 16 Automatic 53 #6 Posted July 16, 2020 My 265H was doing the same thing for a long time. Then the PTO stopped working. The switch is made so you can unplug it and plug it in one row off on the next set of contacts. So i could start it offset and move it back over to turn the PTO on. Got a new switch on ebay for $15.57 shipped. all happy now

Cant hurt it's the original in there.
