Prater 75 #1 Posted May 11, 2009 Is there a way to adjust the tie rods? I had a loose ball joint and after I tightened it up the left wheel is toe out now. Any suggestions? one of the spindles was broken a few years ago and was re-welded. This is probably the issue. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

What I have done in the past is to tweek the arm on the spindle with a crescent wrench thus moving the tie rod ball in relation to the spindle. barns1 57 #4 Posted May 16, 2009 Just bought a 414-8 a few months ago. Had the same problem with spindle. Bought two new ones from the dealer, not priced that bad.
