Removing mower drive belt C-160

How do I swing the doohickey out of the way so I can remove the belt

If I remember correctly, you pull the hitch clip on the bottom of the curved arm, remove the pin at the end of the pulley, then lift and rotate the curved arm to the side.

There's supposed to be a pin going through the red U bracket and the end of the pulley which is missing in your pic.

Pull that cotter pin in the trunnion just above the hoop, watch the magic happen.

Remove the clip or pin holding this and pop it up and the bale will swing out enough to remove the belt. (See yellow circle)

Wow! Just like magic the belt is off . Thanks everyone, it's been years since I have removed a mower deck
