55reasons 171 #177 Posted June 21, 2020 (edited) On to the arm rests. I cut some pads out of 2mm silicone I keep around to keep the powdercoat from rubbing together, etc. Also added some rubber fender washers to go under the arm rest vinyl to cut down an abrasion as well. Because I made the new arm rests out of oak, I was able to apply red loctite and really torque them down. Edited June 21, 2020 by 55reasons 1
55reasons 171 #179 Posted June 22, 2020 In my opinion, this is how the armrest hardware should have been done originally anyway:
55reasons 171 #180 Posted June 22, 2020 Anyway, the seat is done. Toro dealer called this AM and said the seat rubber baby buggy bumpers have arrived. We’ll see if they’re even close to the right part.

If the rubber baby buggy bumpers aren't quite the right shape just get you a rubber baby buggy bumper meltification molderizer.

Well I have one of those on order too (I’m trading my rubilator for it) just in case these ones don’t work. Edited June 22, 2020 by 55reasons
