MainelyWheelhorse 1,417 #8451 Posted Saturday at 10:52 PM (edited) Hey, speaking of computers, I’m old enough to have played computer games that needed a C prompt RUN command in DOS. The Manhole was one of them. It didn’t move much. mostly still images that swapped when you did something like move to another room, or opened a drawer. I was a junior in high school when the internet took off. As far as what I did today, I was supposed to work but they were over staffed so I came home. I then worked on the C-141 and hung out with family to 6. I might have the starting issue figured out. I don’t have to go in tomorrow until 1. so maybe I’ll try to start it tomorrow morning. UPDATE: As of 7:30 pm I got it to turn the engine over from the key. Tomorrow I’m going to button things up before work and maybe take it for a spin. ebinmaine 72,205 #8454 Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM Incredibly busy day today!! I was so tired from hiking yesterday I was in bed and out cold by 7:30 PM. This morning I was outside in the barn by 5 AM. After the shelf moving project I built this wall for the new workshop space AC. 2

Didn't run long enough to get from the boat launch to our dock. Water pump was working fine when we took it out last fall. Somehow it managed to fail while it was in winter storage. I found a rebuild kit, but have not had time to install it yet. 1

Mine is in China, it’s roughly 15 -20 minutes away from Somerville. Edited yesterday at 12:28 AM by MainelyWheelhorse

Going to neet it when I get around to working on the outboard.

c-series don 9,916 #8468 Posted 17 hours ago Not today, but I’m just getting around to what I did in the fourth. Drove our FD tanker on the local parade. 1996 Pete with a 425 hp Cat, 9-Speed coupled to a 1973 Trailmobile 6200 gallon tank trailer. We are one of only two departments to have tractor trailer tankers on all of Long Island. I was on the purchasing committee for tractor and am very proud of it. I have supplied countless thousands of gallons of water for all kinds of fires. 4 4
