adsm08 5,214 #10251 Posted Tuesday at 11:46 PM Work, PT, voting, then I came home, put the wheels back on my Explorer, and anchored my tire balancer to the floor properly and retested it for the issues I've been having. Anchoring the machine is apparently an important step.
c-series don 12,564 #10252 Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM (edited) Well it wasn’t today, it was actually Sunday morning but I’m just getting around to posting this. We had a simple tanker/drafting drill on our FD property. I was the tanker operator, that’s me standing on the back of the tanker. Rick3478 474 #10253 Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM Beautiful weather in NW Ohio encouraged me to make another fall cleaning pass, and encountered a Kohler M12S engine core I had all but forgotten that I have. So I took a photo and put it on the classifieds for the group. Reduced my asking price on 310-8 transaxle while I was at it. Gathered a couple buckets of Hickory nuts and shelled them. Rain predicted for tomorrow morning and I think I'm actually ready for it. Hey, normal clock feels great. Don't have to get up in the dark, got up with the Sun instead. 2

I spent about 20 hours shuttling water from the closest hydrant three miles away to a couple tanks to cover exposures near a barn fire. Three other pumpers and a tank truck were doing the same. Barn full of hay is nearly imposable to extinguish but we saved the house and several other outbuildings as well as the livestock. Cool little rainbow there.
ohiofarmer 3,520 #10255 Posted 7 hours ago Just trying and finding out why my batteries were going flat. Actually it was the chargers. One battery was at ten volts and she went to six volts in an hour Then i got out the old manual 2 amp charger and it worked and spun one of the 2 C-160s and the fuel pump was not working. it fired on carb spray. The 314 is up ,but its time to be mounting up a snow plow. At least now i think the three yausa batteries can be saved. We are still mowing /grinding leaves as they fall with the 314. Having old equipment is still preferred to the new stuff. Little things like fuel pumps and such may need swapped out or get an electric assistant pump. therre is a guy called the Flying wrench on Facebook who services equipment and he is fun to watch. He goes to the outdoor equipment with a super organized truck filled with Milwaukee Pak Out boxed and gets it done.
