Hope they make you stop at Yankee Candle in Deerfield too.

That was THE place to go back in the 1990s.

The Car Museum set up by the owner was absolutely wonderful.

I got the wiring to my '72 C10's ignition switch wire harness reassembled today.  I located the Packard 56 terminals at the local NAPA store and ended up ordering a roll over crimping tool from Summit Racing.  They are selling it under the Painless brand.    Works well.  The crimp looks just like the factory crimp.

It passed the smoke test when I hooked up the battery.

A couple pictures of this week's work in our Ky woods.

The camper after we dropped it down the hill and got it back up the hill to the Mrs 8n approved level spot:

A shot of the storage shed and the new camp bath house.

The original position of the camper was just out of the left side of the picture.

Oh, yea - the camper's toung jack caster wheel has been replaced with a foot.  That, and the four stabilizing jacks on the trailer will go a long way to prevent the 'runaway trailer' syndrome we had the other day.

Not yet.  Will be carried in for now.  Chemical toilet and propane/battery/pump inline water heater for hot shower.

We are starting out with a HF Predator solar pannel and power station as a learning experience.  We will probably upgrade to something larger in the future.  We've also got a 3500 watt gas powered generator that will end up on the Ky property eventually.

Once we start building a permanent building, we will hook up to the county water system and power.

Going to be a while.  I didn't take any pictures and everything is reinstalled under the dash, so taking pictures isn't really doable.  Try a search on Packsrd 56 terminals abd see if any pictures turn up.

We've been considering what to do for the new upta camp land.

One possible bug advantage for us is that Maine still "grandfathers" outhouses built before a certain point.

Our new land has an old off grid residence.

If we can find a location of the original outhouse, we may be able to rebuild it.

Beautiful 41* here.    Great morning to sit in a tree and watch the sun rise.

My neighbor, @clean h2o, took down a nice buck on Thursday. Brought me over a nice steak last night.

It was delicious but took a minute to adjust to eating meat with no fat.
