Got the 72" snow blower mounted on my big tractor today.

Hopefully it will not be used any time soon but it is ready.

I only used this setup once last winter when the snow was too deep for my 520HC and plow to deal with.1019376137_Snowblowerontractor20263.JPG.bf076d50b359ac96d3423d4fb1107e0c.JPG

That reminds me, the 520HC and plow are also ready to go. It just needs a wash to get the dust off that accumulated from sitting in the storage building all summer.

8ntruck

We've been at our Ky location for a few days working in our woods.  We got the A Liner camper set up, and have a list of small projects to work on this trip.  Today's major chore to take the 16' utility trailer into town to pick up some building supplies turned into anadventure.  No problem to and from town.  I took the trailer to the end of the driveway to unload it.  No problems there.  Nowhere to turn the Ram 1500/16' trailer combo around, so I'm thinking go slow and no problem.  After all, it is only a couple hundred yards. Made it about half way, when I lost track of the back wheels on the truck and dropped the left rear off the edge of the road.  Had the left wheel at full drop and the right rear at full rise.  No traction to lift myself out.

EJ the 8N to the rescue!  Hooked up with a 3/8" chain, had Mrs 8N in the truck to feed a bit of throttle when EJ started pulling, and out it came.

I clamped the receiver hitch onto the MF's fel and pushed the trailer the rest of the way.

Got to look into installing tow hooks on the Ram.
