ebinmaine 79,177 #9752 Posted Tuesday at 11:03 PM I'm getting farmed out from my own store to another one because they don't have a crane driver at the moment. By the time I got home today I had somewhere in the neighborhood of 325 miles driving. Left the house about 4:15 a.m. and got back by around 5:45 pm. Roughly 6 hours of that was driving. The rest was loading and unloading with either crane or forklifts. Similar tomorrow although I don't think I'll have as many miles. My wife had an appointment with a doctor in the big city, she doesn't like driving on interstates and in city traffic so I always drive her. Only problem is that the location they had marked for the well was a foot or foot and a half on my side of the property line. I pointed this out to the crew and said that we have a survey ordered. No argument from the crew - they don't want to drop as well in the wrong place. They picked a new spot and started thinking about how they were going to get their rig into position when they get the final go for the job. This story continues....... c-series don 11,970 #9755 Posted 8 hours ago It wasn’t what I did today, but over the weekend. My wife and I took our camper about an hour away to the east end of Long Island, to Montauk,NY. We got up early Saturday morning to catch the sunrise at the lighthouse. It’s a beautiful place to camp, right on the beach! In the village of Montauk I stopped to take a picture of The Memory Motel. Yes the one The Rolling Stones sang about! As they said The Memory Motel, it’s on the ocean, I guess you know it well! I then visited relatives for a few hours in a weekly meeting called “Happy Hour” at my cousin Brian’s, Then picked up the basement/workshop and worked on my R/C car for a few hours.
