There is two on eBay though, an unrestored one is at 200.00 another one that is fixed up and partially restored is 950.00. 2

WHX?? 56,742 #9703 Posted Friday at 01:06 AM Finished up some lawn art. The old MM plow on a somewhat raised bed. I had these old timbers just laying around. I planted grass around the perimeter and Zinnias in the area under the plow. Get another pic when they come up. Watering the snot out of them. 4

I have pictures of myself and my three brothers riding around in a cart behind it with our father at least 40 years ago.

Kids are grown and if I croak, she’s covered. After 50 years without a bike and TCB, it was time to dial it back in. Best part? They fire right up every time, which is more than I can say for these confounded Wheel Horses! I do love them but they can be a real pain in the butt. 2

Trying to get the junk outta the yard & off my trailer. Edited Friday at 01:25 PM by ML3 3

adsm08 4,518 #9713 Posted 14 hours ago My morning so far has been working on the truck. I'm waiting for new O2 sensors, so I was looking for things I could do with the cab still up. I touched up a few spots on the frame, and managed to extract the one broken cab bolt from it's mount.
ebinmaine 79,053 #9714 Posted 13 hours ago Earlier this morning I went out to the back 40 (garden area) and used our big walk behind DR Trimmer. Size of a push mower. Works excellent. VERY hard work. About an hour on that was plenty. There's still several hours of work to go there. Then we went hiking up across the street to Bill Merrill Mountain. Just under 4 miles. About 2.5 hours total time. Definitely faster and felt better than either of us was expecting. 3

Ed Kennell 46,153 #9716 Posted 12 hours ago I fileted over 100 fish this morning. The club held our annual kids fishing derby today. We had 68 kids signed up and they landed some lunkers. The winner was a 26.25 long 10.2 lb. rainbow. Those smiles are the best prize. 1 3
8ntruck 8,922 #9717 Posted 7 hours ago Good looking fish. Not sure what is going on in our lake this year, as I am not seeing many bluegill or bass around our dock in the morning when dog and I make our daily parimiter patrol. I noticed the same boat fishing in front of the lake house last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a couple hours each morning. Beginning to wonder if they fished out this area of the lake. I finally got the pontoon down to the boat launch. Backed it in far enough to get the lower unit of the outboard in the water. Fired it up, gave it some revs - no cooling water peeing out. Being smarter this year, it was still on the trailer, so I towed it back to the yard to drop the lower unit and open the water pump. Much easier working over dry land instead of in the lake! Sure enough, I found an impeller hub and crumbs of impeller vaines. Call the Honda dealer Monday and get pieces parts coming. I'm confused, though. I replaced the impeller last June. We only ran 3 maybe 4 gallons of fuel through the engine last year. The water pump was working when we put it on the trailer last fall. The impeller seems to have failed over the winter while the boat was in storage. I'm at a loss for why it failed. Anybody got any ideas about the cause of the failure? Ed Kennell 46,153 #9718 Posted 7 hours ago I have a habit of bumping the starter or yanking the rope quite often when mine are in winter storage. Keeps the vanes from taking a "set". But it sounds like you just got one with a bad mix of rubber.

I went for years on an old impeller on my old 60 hp Johnson. Finally figured I'd do routine maintenance and sad to say - needed to replace it every year or two after that...! Handy Don 16,710 #9720 Posted 6 hours ago I’m curious if there was any residual water in there over the winter. I take extra care with my pressure washer to thoroughly flush with RV antifreeze before winter storage.
8ntruck 8,922 #9721 Posted 4 hours ago I've discovered a forum about Honda outboard that looks reasonable. After reading that, I think I am going to order a full pump rebuild kit and a spare impeller. There is a line of thinking that mixing new and old pump parts might not be the best of ideas. I did not change the cup that the impeller runs in last year - it still looked good to me and was still solidly in its plastic housing. Who knows? The other think I wonder is how fast do those impellers come apart? The number of impeller shards I found inside the pump suggests that it might happen more in a matter of seconds than minutes.
