My_horse 109 #9527 Posted yesterday at 12:00 AM Worked on my trailer yesterday. Bought it in 2019 and the powder coat immediately started peeling off just the fenders. So I scraped all the coating off, sanded primed and painted each one. checked bearings today and had to snug them up some. Aired up the tires and lubed the moving parts of the hitch, jack, and gate. Had to relocate the license plate because I stepped on the back of the trailer and the front came up, back went down and snapped my license plate holder off the taillight. 😡. Now it’s mounted to the ramp sans light. Today I had to mow, waited a bit for grass to dry. While I waited I changed the mower drive belt on my Timecutter HD. There were 3 cracks in the old one that I noticed on spring maintenance. Very easy to do, just needed my spring hook to release the tension spring. Now I don’t have a belt squeak when turning the pto on. Tension spring has more tension on it too.

cafoose 3,709 #9531 Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM I got a seat from @76c12091520h a couple years ago at the Big Show and it was easy to modify to fit. Here's the link:

The plate must be illuminated.

I’m sure it is here in PA too. I don’t use the trailer at night, so I should be ok. I can wire up a new light if I see the need arise.

8ntruck 8,821 #9537 Posted 20 hours ago Took a quick run up to our Michigan property. It is still there. The yard needs a cleanup and mowing. This will be seat time on Morgan, the 14-8 no name. Got the PO box emptied, title transfer and plates for the trailer that came with the GC1720, and made a run to Lansing to meet with my nephew. Got back to our Mo. property last night. Spent today continuing demolition on the deck so the plumbers can start excavation to fix the broken sewer pipe Monday. When I pull a permit for the replacement deck, I'm going to ask if there was ever a permit issued for the deck I am pulling down. If there was, I don't know how it would have passed inspection - it has some pretty shady construction features.

8ntruck 8,821 #9539 Posted 20 hours ago Just now, ebinmaine said: If there was, and if it passed, you should NOT have to pay for another permit to fix the failures. Nothing failed on the deck. It just had the misfortune to be right over the sewer line that needs a repair. The plumber pointed out that it would reduce the price of the job substantially if I tore it down instead of him. We've been planning to rework the deck for a long time. Just didn't expect to do so now.
Bar Nuthin 2,395 #9540 Posted 17 hours ago Finally convinced my wife to get rid of her above ground pool. Used the C-141 to drag 5 of these 16" 6x6" beams out of my yard. I'm thinking they might make great posts for a slant roof shelter for my attachments
CasaytheMann 95 #9541 Posted 16 hours ago Finally decided to remove a Birch tree that does nothing but drop crap all year round. It's about 70' tall. The only tool I had to do the job was a B&D 20v chainsaw with a 10" blade. I was thinking that it was going to take a few days with a small battery powered chainsaw, and 7 batteries. It ended up taking about 8 hours to drop it all the way. I couldn't cut the trunk up all the way though because my batteries all died. 3
8ntruck 8,821 #9542 Posted 4 hours ago That is an ambitious project for B&D 10" saw. I've got one, and agree that batteries are on the low capacity side. Never felled a big tree with it, but I have chopped up some similar sized trees with it that were already down. Lowes shows an aftermarket battery for this saw that is much larger than the B&D batteries. Going to look into getting one.
CasaytheMann 95 #9543 Posted 3 hours ago I have the larger capacity batteries I got off Amazon. They run far longer than the standard battery the unit came with. Far longer.
CasaytheMann 95 #9544 Posted 3 hours ago I might add that you can get 2 of them on Amazon for nearly half what Lowes charges.
