I had the same one, it got into a bag of trash that was better burnt than sent to the dump (light paper and such) and the handle exploded.

Sometimes this site gives me very bad ideas.

Pffft, like I've never had a nickname related to me setting something on fire or blowing something up before.

Hummmmm.  That tubular handle must be pretty well sealed.

You going to investigate further?

Drill a small hole in the handle.   Remove the temptation.

I'm almost afraid to ask.... how you might know that??

I recycle everything possible.    What can not be recycled is tossed in the burn barrel to be cleaned of plastic and rubber.    This includes items such as wiring, old electric appliances, drills, grinders and spray cans.  :scared-eek:

Some items accidently find thier way into the burn barrel.   Some that I know of are silverware, a Kodak PixProAZ255, A RADA paring knife, and my dust pan.

This RADA  knife is ugly but one of my best.    Perfectly tempered.

Ok, went out today to get in a couple of sled runs before it warms up next week. Braved the biting cold to make a video to prove it!

This run was from midway down the hill since I needed one hand for the camera and runs from the top are so fast I need both hands to hold onto the sled!

Duck tape your rear to the sled or better yet tape the camera to your head. Then give us a ride from the top.   :woohoo:

A little creative editing and there is a men's supplement commercial in there. :D

This afternoon at work I was helping one of the junior techs with a particularly stubborn brake job when I lost my grip on the torch and let the flame pass over my face.

I'm fine, but I burnt off half an eyebrow (the other half was under my torch glasses). Just waiting for the wife to notice.

Remember kids, wear eye protection when doing dumb things.
