That's some reach, wouldn't have much capacity out there though.

 

You must have a belly box for the controls or you would never see enough from the base of the machine. They are like having an extra man on site.

We use it for roofing so it's really made for going UP not OUT. 

Going up it'll hold 6000 lbs which is the capacity of the forks. 

The control remote is wireless so I can go wherever the crane reaches and then some.

And you don't use a hook and wire. We usually have both on out knucklebooms, but you never lift the really heavy loads with the wire.

 

This is the last little ship I was on that had a crane. We used it to lift cars on as there were no ramps at any of the ports. Also loaded everything else you could think of from cattle to building materials.

They had to lengthen her as she was to small for the job as built.  I was engineer, deckhand, ticket collector - never a moment to sit down during a working day. On the plus side she was berthed about one minutes walk from our house in Orkney.

Been tidying the mower shop today, well moving stuff around to make it a bit easier to work in.

It was never meant to be a workshop, just storage.  But its good to have a space where I can work on small engines rather than in my main machine shop where swarf and muck abound.

 This morning went in the workshop. Looked at the bike parts. Made a list of parts needed. Looked at the tractors. Gave the Santa Fe a good clean out Cut some mesh to put on top of Carols rabbits run, to stop any cats that might have ideas. Though I reckon some lead shot would make a better and more permanent solution.

I did think about that Norm, but its just a little vice for odd jobs. I have bigger vices in the other shops for hammering etc.

This one I can use just to grip parts for working on.

Took the 1075 and 1467  out today for a ride around the block to test out the semi-finished road.

Well unfortunately here I have to quit bworking on my charger build and do some domestic home improvements!! 
getting it ready to put on some green tin!

Then comes the hammock !! I can lay back in the hammock  and stare down my shed with all the red!!

Trina, Meeha, 2 of our close friends and I went on our first backpacking trip. Trina and I have done many many mountain hikes but always from a base camp. Yesterday we left right from the house to hike about a mile up the road to the trailhead. We climbed Bill Merrill Mt. Trina and our friend Jen went about scouting the forest for a campsite then we all Set up camp. Relaxed a bit and had a meal. This morning we woke and had coffee then broke camp and came home. 

A wonderful experience. The weather was lovely. The company was the best there is.

We're in a drought so there's almost NO bugs.

Used the aerator on the lawn today with the Suburban. First time I've pulled anything with the 79cc Predator. It did great!
