wallfish 15,923 #3 Posted April 7, 2020 NICE! That thing looks great PF eng design.. One thing I wish I did different was to angle the 2 stabilizers for the hoe back towards the rear. I flip the seat up and on to the steering wheel to sit on the back of it and made some deviations to the plans for the frame holding the valves to make it more comfortable to do so. Interested in seeing how Ironman operates his. If possible, my suggestion is to angle the stabilizers back 45 deg towards the bucket instead of straight out the side like the design plans, if you haven't finished the main frame. It will certainly work as designed but there's quite a bit of force on those arms pulling them back towards the bucket. Not sure how much it would help but it certainly couldn't hurt. "beefing up" those mount areas down near the frame or doing both is a good idea. Another thing is to look into using joystick controllers instead of levers.
