RedBone43 29 #1 Posted March 22, 2020 Long story short, my son has loved WH’s since my father in law gave him a 211-4 when he was 7yrs old. He is 15 now and has since acquired a 1970 Charger 12 and a 1988 312-8. He got both of these for under $500 and they were in rough shape when we bought them. A used sunstrand hydro pump and a set of new valves later we will be able to use both this mowing season! He saved all of his chore money for parts/tires for his WH’s. I’m real proud of my son and now I’ve got the WH bug!! My grand parents had a 520h when I was younger and that is my next target. Anywho, here’s some pics. 8 12

Best wishes with your projects getting the Horses ready for chore season!

Already located a1056, 2 electro 12’s and a WH 12 All of those would be easy enough to get parts for. Also good workers. 1056 is desired by some collectors because it is an early big block and has a short frame. If those Electro 12s are original they will have a limited slip differential which as you can imagine is extremely handy in snow or rough terrain.
