Husqvarna  model 51. I bought that new in 1995 and just used it last weekend and runs like the day I brought it home. Zero issues after all these years.

An old bladder tank for a well water (closed loop) system.

If that's didn't "roll" the snow there was something wrong.

It’s quite the design and a true testament to “use what ya got”.

I have to admit I'm impressed. What's the width?

it’s about 39” wide, but likely a 37” cut being angled.  Note, this is NOT my creation, just revisiting a previous owner’s dream.

I’m just waiting for another inch or two of snow to fall before trying it out.

Really like that closed end cap.

That's one thing that does kinda big me with the standard plow. I find I can only take about 1/2 the blade width or I lose a small windrow off the forward side. I've been considering adding some sort of end plates to the 48" plow.

A cut down propane tank, a la @Oldskool's "Snow Drift" screw pontoons? Ingenious.

Looks like it's made out of an old (gas) tank.  Makes me think for making something equal.

It’s an old bladder tank for a well water plumbing system.  @Maxwell-8 I’ imagine your systems are similar too, but any system from a well has a check valve and the bladder is used to take up expansion and contraction in the plumbing from heating of the water, fast pressure drops, etc.
