Got my hopes up! I was hoping to see a WH pulling a dead ford home! :lol:

 

I know the real test is to nose it up to a tree and see if the tires spin - here you're doing that but with at least a couple hundred less pounds on it for traction. Is the test accurate without the weight?

I did add 178 lbs  and the tire continued to spin thru the full range of forward/reverse.      Sorry, I didn't have anyone to take a picture of me standing on the tool box and operating the motion control lever.         She did push the Ford forward a bit before the tires started to spin.    I was afraid she might push the Ford and drag the 417A     :scared-yipes:

Many models used a double pulley as a work around for the rear tiller belt.
