ClassicTractorProfessor 5,262 #1 Posted March 8, 2020 I belong to a local auction group on Facebook, mostly just to see what kind of junk people are getting rid of, but once in a while something cool comes up, as was the case this past week when I stumbled across this hood for my 701 project. Starting bid was only $5 so I bid on it, had the high bid for 4 days at $9, but got in a last minute bidding war with another guy, and ended up winning it for $32. 11 7

Then you just use the comments section to place bids. The usual way it works on the group I belong to is people will start listing items on Monday or Tuesday, usually with a sale end on Friday at 7 P.M. Then the normal meeting and pickup is always on Sunday at 1:30 P.M. in the United Supermarket parking lot. Most sales usually aren't this close, and the seller can easily determine the winning bid. But in this case it took over two hours before a group Admin could look at the official times on the bids and determine who the winner was, there were 11 bids between us in the last 60 seconds of the sale. Actually worked out great in my favor, I actually ran it up to $40, but the official ending bid came in at $32, everything after that ended up being after 7
