Anybody ever see one of these, looks like the Red Baron's Fokker Bi-plane !!!!! I think I spy a centrifugal clutch to run the impellors. For our Canadian neighbors

is this a North of the Border machine?

Yes I had one. I bought it just for the 6.25 Kohler engine that was on it. I had the rest forsale for $40 and no one bit on it so it went to scrap

I too had a MotoMower SnoShark. Mine had a Tecumseh.

It looked cool for sure but we rarely had enough snow to make the third stage of any use.

They work much like an old BobCat with that paddle wheel impeller. They sorely lack any sort of power. My BobCat, while smaller, still barely makes due with a big 8hp B&S.

For the era they were much better than a single stage of any sort.. their competition were those old Homko's with the fan wheel on the front.

I like the chrome safety / lift bar!

Caption this;

now hold still, "this won't hurt a bit"

That sure has the look of a mighty mean snow thrower, so you say it doesn't work all that well, eh? To bad :confusion-shrug:

I have one, trans is bad. I had thoughts that it could be made to run off a wheel horse, if I removed motor and trans. Only problem is the impeller rotation is opposite of what the PTO runs, would need a way to reverse direction

This is the one I had, came with a k141 Kohler. It was a impressive machine and could move a lot of snow almost effortlessly. Very cool and almost medevil looking.
