lawnboy 1 #1 Posted February 1, 2020 Hello, new to this site so I am hoping I posted in right area. I have a shop and I was luckie enough that a client brought in a d250 with the Renault 800-01 engine not running. No one else would tackle this beast. After a few minutes of cleaning points readjusting dist and a few other things it fired up. Problem is we need to replace cap,rotor,points and condenser. After reading a few forums and getting some numbers we found that people have retired or have disappeared to be able to get needed parts to put this back out to work,so I am hoping someone here can put some light back on where to locate the needed parts. squonk 43,424 #4 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) Getting correct Continental or Renault parts can be like flying to the moon with a kite. There is a reason why no one wanted to touch it. There is also a reason you don't see any Renaults running around America. They can build F1 race cars and that's about it. Post your request in the Europe section.
