953 nut 51,648 #2 Posted December 6, 2019 There is a lot of linkage for the brakes/clutch that would need to be changed along with the transmission. If you have the complete tractor the three speed came from you could get the job done, but if you need to buy all the parts and pieces it could be a bit of a challenge. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ebinmaine 63,095 #3 Posted December 6, 2019 I'm curious to know the reason for the desired swap. Is your hydro bad? Do you prefer a gear drive? Just being nosey quite frankly... Best bet if you do the change is to find a parts tractor that has everything you need. Or... Just buy another tractor... Always good to have spares. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Would you prefer to have a manual instead of a hydro? One thing to keep in mind is that before you put any transmission into any tractor you are very likely to need to replace more than one seal.
