Thinking About Chrome Plating

Recommended Posts

There really isnt anyplace local here that does such a small job...at some point, i'd like to have these hubcaps for my Bronco14 redone (yup; i'd have to find a front, too...these were all he gave me).

Since i'd have to ship them anyway, figured i'd ask here, if any of the vendors, or members, do it?

I'm not looking for show quality,  but anything is better than this poor neglected state...

Thanks for any leads or ideas; y'all have a good day, and stay warm!20191202_061450.jpg.6d58eb6c6bc6c10eca7edfb541112012.jpg

Don't know much about them but it looks like they will take on small jobs and they are not too far from you.

Here is another place in Brillion to check out.

Make sure you're sitting down when you get the quote. I had a pair of fronts done.........very pricey, NOS hubcap sets are cheaper!  It's going to be hard to find a plater to not do it show quality. Kinda like asking a painter to do a so-so job. That's why we'll probably never see hubcaps reproduced, the cost of chroming is thru the roof. I have Librandi's in Harrisburg, Pa do all my stuff.

I had a local shop quote me to re-chrome my hubcaps, also for a Bronco 14. I was given a price of $85 each

Set of four chrome hubcaps for tractor. See pictures for measurements. 2 front and 2 rear wheel. In good condition, some rust on back side (not pictured). Thanks for looking and contact me for any questions or offers. Will ship for additional $10 (continental US only)

Got the seat and caps at the big show. Want to put them on my 75 C 160. Can someone tell me the years they were produced? Thanks!
