Stigian 1,234 #1 Posted April 22, 2009 It was one of those early spring days, not too warm just enough heat from the sun to take the chill out of the air.. A nice day, a nice day for a few too many beers in fact. You know how it is.. the first beer goes down very well and very fast. The second goes down with equal enthusiasm.. Toward the end of the third beers you start wondering what you can do to have some fun right about the time the forth beer is opened. And this is why Pete, Garry and I found ourselves running around draining gas from anything that still had some in and hitching the trailer on the back of the 312 The "boys" getting stuck in while waiting for me to stop farting about taking photo's and do some driving. The first stop and stagger, but what's caught Pete's attention Ducks!! The curse of the laughing daffodils. Once started the giggles take over.. Still going... I guess laughter in large amounts must be quite exhausting! When Pete managed to get out of the trailer we headed into the woods.. LOOK a tree!! It's strange you know, I don't remember the satnav saying anything about unmade roads with big mounds of earth in the way! Despite all the beers Pete thought walking this part may be the safer option LOOK.. another tree!! Best try a different way around.. "Despite having fitted bigger and better wheels to the trailer, Stig felt that they didn't quite grip as well as the advert said they would" "That's it"!! "Your grounded"!! At last, back to the safety of tarmac.. Hope you all enjoyed our drunken trip out and about, as much as we did getting drunk and heading out and about. And finally, the slightly red and drunken face of Pete. Glad you and Garry had a good time
