Recommended Posts

just wanted to throw this out there- i got a pair of 60lb gas struts on Amazon for $16.99, both my 312-8's needed them. they are the correct length/strength for this use and have eye ends, not ball ends like a lot of other gas struts. happy hunting. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072FJSTTG

Yeah, the rubber deals were way too stiff so I kept the coil springs. I tried drilling holes to see if Swiss cheesing them would soften things up but not even a bit. Oh well. The seat struts are still working great though!
