2000 WH seat!

Recommended Posts

There otta be be a “seat” section! IMO! The seat on my 2000 is too far forward... and it’s not like the wheel horse original seat (like the late 70s seat) with the seat springs (c shaped). The photos are of my Dads C101 and 1of my 2000 WH. I ordered off eBay the old WH seat bracket and springs. Next i need to order a seat.... they don’t a make seats like they used to!!

I put the Cinnamon Horse seat on long brackets.

Moved it back a couple extra inches.

AHS , this is the seat i have on my three horses, https://www.agrisupply.com/universal-tractor-seat/p/14119/  , exact w/h bolt pattern for easy bolt on , agree with ebinmaine on the long seat brackets, i also picked up some nice  craftsman /  murry   seat springs which really helped on the very end of the mount. look at your options to remount that seat frame, probably picking up some 5/16  or 3/8 steel flat stock for bolt mount strength . you might remove the seat/ fender pan to give you a better look at your seat mounting possibilities. once you find a go to, under fender frame possibility , use the steel flat stock to bridge the area. drill a few holes and remount your much better fitting seat, pete

I ordered it! Come to find out 7” x 7.5” is a popular size. My dad is tall, 6’2”,I will try his C101 and figure out where I want it. I’m not that tall, only 5’10”. I imagine my dad has got his the furthest away from his pedals! Thanks!!

I'm 6'-1" and not exactly small......

I can use the stock rear most seat bolts but it isn't super comfy. You'll be fine with it.

On a side note of the same subject.... Colossus will have a 7" extension between the frame and transmission.

Leg room should be good.

:P

Be careful how far you mount your seat. You'll shift more weight to the rear.

It would be difficult at best to move it back far enough to effect anything.

I'm uhhh.... Large.... And the balance of the tractor hasn't been changed.

The seat pans that flip open can be bolted down... or like mine ..  I put a deeper notch in the lock.

If anything it's favorable to have a little more drive traction.

if you can get the tires to stick to the ground it's amazing how well something small like a seven or eight horse engine will pull.
