Deck belt pulley hitting the tire rod

Recommended Posts

On this charger 10 that I just got I'm sitting here looking at the tire rod and noticed there was a bit of rubbing going on. Is there any adjustment to fix this ?

not sure what you have there but i would guess the belt is too long, someone with a charger will be along to correctly answer  your question, pete

That is the fixed idler pulley.   A shorter belt would not change its location Pete.    The pulley bracket may have been moved forward by the PO for some reason.

Possibly to gain tension to use an incorrect too long belt.   Look for additional holes in the frame or pulley bracket to determine if it was moved .

I looked at your pic again and the pully may have been replaced with a too large dia. pulley.

All I have on the 4974 pulley is that it replaced 4458.
