Confused

[The Tuul Crib 7,332]

So I'm putting Irv back together and I have hit a bit of a snag. I pulled this console tower and everything connected to it off of the eight horse no name to put on this tractor and I'm at a point now where parts are not fitting for

some reason. Any thoughts?

Looks like the steering shaft hitting the regulator?  Is the shaft at the proper angle, or can the reg but rotated 180?  Different reg?

 Yeah I believe it is. I've checked and rechecked on all the positions that it possibly could be but it still keeps hitting the steering

The plate that holds the regulator is supposed to be leaning toward the seat. As you are sitting in the seat you can see the fins.

 So what you're saying is is backwards correct ?

You need to spin the regulator around but yes

I did that I just turned it around to look at it this is almost a duh moment !
