K532 quick timing question

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

Probably my 270th post about timing a big twin K.  If interested, feel free to read the old posts.

For now looking for a quick and dirty answer.  From a purely timing standpoint, if this unit is:

- Running strong, but overheating

- After-firing when shutting off

- Dieseling upon shutoff when REALLY hot

Would you blame too aggressive timing first, or something else?  Long story short, governor blew up, replaced, re-timed as best I could, but it may still be too far advanced.

Thx!
