mariuszaerox 12 #1 Posted November 11, 2019 hello, my original Briggs engine is rather only suitable for rubbish, the renovation exceeds the cost of the new one. I saw on Youtube that they found Vanguard, there are a lot of modifications? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ0mxeNukdI

tom2p 2,394 #3 Posted November 12, 2019 instead of .5 L - I would opt for 1.5 L with a couple of turbos and some other mechanical wizardry you are up to 1000 hp ideal for those tough garden chores and nasty snows 1
Tuneup 1,452 #4 Posted November 12, 2019 I've got a 13HP Vanguard single sitting in my garage that someone handed to me. An old power washer engine that served him well. It's worn but runs. They're the heavy duty Briggs. For WH, it's all about crank height for fit, right?
WildmanC120 613 #5 Posted November 12, 2019 I have a 161 that had the twin Briggs in it. I put a 22hp predator v-twin in it. It was fairly simple and has been reliable. I used it to blow snow all last winter and ran it hard mowing my lawn this year.

Guest 88vic #9 Posted December 6, 2019 @Lee1977. That project is on hold for the moment due to Christmas so any extra funds go to that (wifes orders, happy wife, happy life) . I also have a raider 12 restoration already begun thats in front of this project. So its looking like late February into march that I will open full blast on the kubota swap. If I get it done in time, it will be going to the big show. I dont plan on painting this one, it will have its work clothes on, but who knows, if it seems to work good, maybe it will get a refresher but nothing crazy. I plan on working this one.
