What Am I Doing Wrong Here

Recommended Posts

I am installing the snowblower on my 312-8 for the first time (first time for me...they were bought both together last July). Why is the belt hitting the right front axle?  Thanks!

This manual may not match your exact model but belt routing is the same.

There is no idler pulley contact on the upper span of belt between the motor and the snowthrower.

Move the flat idler down so it is under the bottom span of belt.

make sure you thoroughly oil soak the blower chain drive to auger set up , it should spin easily , lubricate any related movement point . pete

Thanks for the photos and guidance, everyone. I have the belt wrapped correctly now.
