Cleaning the head

Recommended Posts

The Tuul Crib

Many have said to clean the head on these motors to use a glass surface. Here in the woodshop I have just found the perfect surface to do this. The cast iron on my tablesaw is perfectly flat. So I glued this sheet of 320 grit and cleaned it up!

I use the ground surface on my DoAll vertical band saw.  If one has a cheap imported saw, the table will most likely not be true enough for this job.
