Cetan08 311 #1 Posted November 6, 2019 Going Friday to pick up a Toro gmt200. The guy will start it for me but said the ignition switch is out. Has a 60" deck with it that has had spindles replaced. Does a good job of keeping me busy. Nice ! Got a good friend that has been into aviation out off high school. He has a by plane with a four foot wing span and is six feet long . Fun to watch it fly . Stormin 9,975 #19 Posted November 8, 2019 I had a drive of one of Chris's. Great fun and they are quite rapid. The deck had been removed, so don't know how it performed mowing. There is a blower attached to the engine, that blows cuttings into the rear collector. There have been a few ideas as to what Chris will do with it. Cetan08 311 #20 Posted November 9, 2019 Finally got mine home last night and will clean the fuel system later today. Will also change the oil and filter. The guy wanted $550. for it but I got it for $450. I figure the cool factor is worth that. No rust anywhere and has been kept in a shop all its life. Just an awesome machine. Post more later. Cetan08 311 #22 Posted November 11, 2019 Tried to start it yesterday and no spark. Fuel was not getting to the carb either. Someone had installed an electric fuel pump but it didn't work so I took it off and cleaned the lines out. Took a coil off my Onan and the engine fired up and runs perfect. Drove it around the yard and it is so fun to operate. A little strange when backing up until you get used to how it steers. With all the weight over the driving axle it gets great traction.
