well, most of you know that Im planning on switching careers in the coming months, from driving truck to selling BBQ @ fairs, Festivals, Catering Gigs, and eventually a restaurant... Yesterday 4/18 was the first outing for me...

Looking back, er, could have done a few things differently...like Cooking more..haha

It was a one day deal, and I REALLY had my doubts as to how much I Would sell, since nobody could tell me how big the crowds for this would be...

We sold out of everything in just a little over 4 hours...had to turn people away. At one point there was a good 15 foot line of people...I had a couple people give me tips for great food, heard a couple people discussing the great pulled pork out away from the festival later in the day when I went for more bottled water..

Onto a few Before pics (was too busy to get any during and was too tired after..lol)

Heading to setup

Great news Scott! Just in time for the festival season too.

You gonna try to set up during "Thunder over Louisville" next year? Over half a million hungry folks in the crowd.

That is fantastic Scott. :omg: I am sure your stomach was in knots before the event even started wondering how it would go over.

Well you must make some good grub to sell out that fast!

Congrats on the success and I hope the event will lead to more business for you!

Way to go Scott !! I was at "Thunder over Louisville" Saturday and some freinds went to a BBQ vendor and paid $14.00 each for a plate of pulled pork on bun, 4-BBQ's Ribs and a piece of BBQ chicken with potato salad and a Coke. Of course everything is over priced when they have 700K plus people confined at the water front. But it was agreat airshow and the fireworks are second to none in the country all year.
