Looks like this has had an engine transplant. Now has a K161 in it.

Looks like it is a 1976 engine. Has the Wheel Horsem tires on it but

are badly dry rotted. The metal seat pan has the back broken off.

Tecumseh gas tank is mounted up in there. The original iginition

switch is still there with at least part of the wiring still there.

Part of it at least has been repainted at some point.

It was just a few blocks from me and i have done some work on

the lady's mowers in the past. didn't know she had a Horse around

there also.

It matches the Fiero (?) In the background!

Nice find Howie!  A tractor is only worth as much as two people agree on, so you must have done just right!

Retired Wrencher

If you find a use for it than it has value. These fit into tight spaces where bigger tractors can not. Just enjoy it for what it is. Keep the cost down and if you don`t want it send it down the road for some else to enjoy.

Looked at this tractor today. From the looks of the sparkplug this engine maynot

be in very bad shape, no oil deposits on the plug. Carb pretty gummy, in the

cleaner now. Don't know yedt if the fuel pump is going to work. Bottom of gas tank

pretty rusty, trying to clean it. Pulled plug on transmission and water did not come

out, at least from the side plug. Looked normal not milky. Have ordered a shifter

boot, and will try to see how it is going to run.

Got this running last Saturday, seems to run pretty good. Soaked carb for a couple

of days, float had a hole in it. Throttle shaft seems to be in good shape. was

expecting to see more wear on it. Tramsmission is quiet, and will have to do

something about tires.

Looks like a 82-92 Firebird to me.

Glad you got it running! Do the tires have tubes in them? Might could make them last for years with tubes if they don't already!

It is an 88 TA.

Tires are way beyond tubes. About a 10 inch split in sidewalls.

Rears are as bad.
