As you all know these things are hard to find in good shape! And usually if you do they are all rusty and pitted. If you were hard pressed to purchase one to finish your restoration, what would be the most you would be willing to pay for one that was made to high standards? Would there be any advantage for one to be made from stainless steel? I appreciate any ideas or comments! :omg:

I vote for stainless

The biggest advantage is no rust no need for finish if it was

made with brushed or timesaved finish (straight line sanded)

303 or 304 stainless :(

The problem with all the used assemby's is the finish is gone on the lever's

and you have to paint them silver or sand blast and clear coat or

get them zinc plated

Stainless is just cool  even cooler if they were bolted to chevelletown's

bushed stainless throttle, choke and seral # plate :omg:
