The Tuul Crib 7,339 #1 Posted September 23, 2019 Found this fuel pump on this 12 horse that I tore apart yesterday and I have not seen a fuel pump with possibly a primer on it?Maybe they were common or maybe they weren't. formariz 12,045 #4 Posted September 23, 2019 I have a few pumps with that primer. They work but a little ineffective. Takes almost as long as it does cranking the engine . Buying 50 YO tractors is like a box of chocolates...yah never know what yer gonna get! Aways just passed it off on what pump what was on the assembly line in the day .....damn the spec No Kohler needs to ship motors. Thought I saw a lever in a pic so a cam driven pump so any cam driven pump will do. Hopefully we have you schooled enough to not believe every thing you see on TV...err....evilbay! Rebuild or the cheaper plastic pump. As for the bowl I do know the glass and gasket are available on fleabay but be carefull as the whole shebang can be had for less than 15 clams.Don't know about the screen but you can just ditch the screen and run a in line filter, which you should be doing anyway with a bowl, if you want to keep the old skool cool of a bowl. @squonk says ditch the bowl as they always leak and he is right but I highly doubt he has ever owned a original! I have a 72 year old tractor that has had one on it's whole life & is still running great. Send me your address Jim and when I have time to dig them out I'll send them to ya. You can send me something cool Packer or Mafia related in return.
