adsm08 3,354 #1 Posted September 10, 2019 Tonight after dinner the wife sat down on the couch with her phone. A few minutes later she told me "Go get $175 out of the ATM, grab a trailer, and go to X address". On my way to the bank she called me and told me to grab $300 instead. Got there and this is what I found waiting. So, uh, what was I saying about not buying another WH? 4 4

Now I have a better plow, with a manual lever, so I don't have to panic about getting that stupid pump on the 855 working before winter. So, uh, what is it? Tuneup 1,452 #14 Posted September 10, 2019 I've got a soft spots for Briggs since growing up with a Simplicity 707. Love the electric start and a truly unique tractor, and woman. Wife trolling for WH? Unheard of. You're a lucky man in many ways. Enjoy it!

My plan is to ultimately get the HY2 on the 855 working and it be my plow tractor, find a deck for this and get the clutch working, and make it a back up mower/ LD yard worker. Snow plow duty is probably the heaviest work any of my stuff will ever see.

Asphalt driveway that isn't very big and not a lot of snow and you'll be okay plowing with that but it is much more suited to be a mower. Even though it is not as heavy as a garden tractor it is still a good quality overall reliable machine. @gwest_ca might be able to help out with the year and model. Takes me about an hour to shovel 1/4" off it.
