314H 73403 won’t turn over

Ok. Got my father in laws old Wheel Horse.

Installed a new battery (needed) Still won’t turn over. Looks like the safety switches are jumpered already of course knowing him. Under the seat and fenders I found the seat switch jumped g&w wires but there is pink and yellow wires just cut. Can’t find the other ends or what they would go to. Might this be the problem? The PTO and something else are jumped under the hood.

Thanks for any help

These detailed diagrams are easier to understand. Each circuit has it's own diagram.

Hi @Nascarfreak, I would have answered earlier but was watching the #4 Ford stomp the field.        :woohoo:

You would be will served to start fresh with the wiring rather than attempting to correct mistakes made by others. here is a color coded wiring diagram done by @BOB ELLISON that will be helpful. If your engine is a Magnum rather than battiry ignition system a few changes will need to be made.

A 1996 or 1997 model will have magneto ignition.

Richard @953 nut I don't think that wiring diagram will work on his tractor.
