I do not have any Shaker plate tractors but I just got to say those look awesome!

Thank you for taking the initiative to try to get something made up that will work.

A C-160 should't need mounts unless something got changed. ??????

How much for a set? I need to know! My mounts are shot and I need to pull the engine for a rebuild soon.

These are being offered by Zack Kerber Machine https://www.zkbrmachine.com/.  Not sure if there on the web site yet or the price.   The price will be less than the stock replacement mounts.   Best bet is to send a email

Update.   Just got a response from Zack.   These are going to go on the website and EBay tomorrow.    Price is $55.  That a great price considering the stock replacements are around a $100

Yes, keep me honest, my 1979 C-161 and my 1978 C81 have the shaker plate mounts.

My 1979  C101 came with a shaker plate. During it's restoration I cleaned up that mess by throwing out anything connected with that design and simply substituted  4 - 3/4" thick spacers to maintain the original height of the engine.  I used the engine bolt pattern on the shaker plate as a template for  locating and drilling 4 new holes in the frame to mount the engine plus I made new brackets to anchor the lower clutch arm and a simple bracket to secure the muffler. Total cost; $10.00 for 4 custom made 1 1/2" OD X 3/8" ID X 3/4" thick spacers. That's it! Clean and simple. Anybody want the shaker parts?

NICE!!! My Dad had one blackhood with wobble mounts and I had a 1979 C-141. We both hated the mounts. The blackhood got sold and I fabricated solid mounts but I don't remember what I did. It got sold too. These mounts are clean (I like that) and definitely priced right. I've got half a notion to get a set just to have in my stash in case...…..:)

He’s a great guy to deal with and is willing to make parts if there is a market.
