Hello to the forum from Mick in England.

I'm located in Barnsley South Yorkshire and I have a C125 currently in pieces and being rebuilt.

Hope I can find some help and inspiration on here.

The Kohler K301 engines my biggest challenge and I hope it's one I can deal with.

Regards Mick

:WRS: from Cumbria, Mick. :UK:

You'll get plenty of help and advice on here. My first Wheel Horse was a C-125 now sharing workshop place with C-81 and C-121, plus a Raider 10 basket case. So you can see they are addictive.

Meetens at Preston are very good for Kohler engine parts. I've used them a  few times.

BTW. Photo's are a must.

Hi all and thanks for all the welcomes.  I'm part way through rebuilding the engine but the parts are exp6so I'm wondering if I ought to buy a new motor and sell the K301 to someone who can repair it.

Mick. Put up a post in the Engines section. Tell us there what the problem/problems are. If you get a second hand motor, you could possibly be buying more trouble.

:WRS:

This thread is on a smaller Kohler engine rebuild, but i is quite helpful. The Kohler engine will probably outlast you once it is properly rebuilt so it can be seen as an investment rather than an expense.
