Skipper 1,789 #1 Posted July 25, 2019 I have been looking, but can't find the part number, or dimensions, for the castle nut that tightens the front wheel bearing, and holds it all in place. Can anyone help me out? Perhaps also where to go get them? Thanks
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,528 #2 Posted July 25, 2019 Toro 32136-5 is a 3/4"-16 Castellated SAE fine thread nut In the parts list it is on the tire and wheel page. Garry 2
Racinbob 11,991 #3 Posted July 25, 2019 That's a common nut used on many trailers and is readily available but I'm not sure about your side of the pond. 1
peter lena 9,317 #4 Posted July 25, 2019 important conversion to this very good information, i am amazed to see the problem with this conversion, you are given the exact specifications , yet there is a problem with finding that nut at another source ? if your mind set is to only get " genuine wheel horse parts " , you will have an issue . check w/h parts first , but don,t let the fact that you probably won,t find that , stop you. put those specifications on the net , and search , its not difficult, having done this for practically every problem i have encountered , if i was determined to only have genuine w/h parts ( and their prices ) i would still be waiting to solve a basic problem . just my own experience, pete 2

And thanks to all others who helped find the nut size. Being a millimeter guy, it is sometimes a hassle to figure out what a nut, bolt and so on is called in the states. The shipping won't be a problem. Kind of got that down to a t by now Thanks everybody

Yeah I hear you. I can easily find a place to buy them, but my problem was finding a part number or size. Not being used to imperial measures, and being in millimeter land, it is not easy for me to measure the thread and come up with anything useful really. Couldn't find the part number initially either, so hense the question I agree completely that google can solve most. But you need just a little starting info to feed google............... Hope that makes sense. Thanks to all 2
Pullstart 67,092 #8 Posted July 27, 2019 We’re probably spoiled at the hardware stores, because we can’t make up our mind what nuts and bolts to use. There are plenty of projects in the garage that have even a mix of SAE and metric hardware.... but some of the oddball bolt types lack availability when it comes to special fine threads or metric threads on occasion.
