Unreal 110 hp Case puller!

Love it!!!!  The whistle is a nice touch.

A long time ago at the Ingham County Fair, I saw a similar performance with I think a 40 horsepower Case traction engine.  It was at the end of the show, so the sled was set up for the heavy class super modified tractors.  Like this one, the steam engine just motored away with the sled.

It helps a bunch that a steam engine makes maximum torque when it is stalled.

The Case 110hp is an awesome machine. If you look close at the video you will notice that the tractor does not have a steering wheel. The Case 110 was the very first tractor with power steering. Steering is accomplished with two levers that control steam to turn the steering spool for the chains attached to the front axle.

That is back when a horsepower was a genuine “horse power”!  Thanks for sharing the videos and information.

That reproduction 150hp steamer is a work of art!  It makes a guy wonder what those machines are really capable of given a chance to REALLY stretch their legs.  How much could they pull?

Maybe slow, but real Powerful and heavy enough, don‘t need any counterweights.

allway‘s impressive.

at a fair about 300km far there was few years ago also a tractor pulling event with an old Steam Tractor.

Before that Country road looks like a Battlefield.

To the Pulling Area, This Iron monster droves itself on this Country road for about 800meters,

that has first time an impressive Sound and later this 800m road was later nearly leveled.
