Just have to do some fabricating with the muffler, engine plate and PTO shaft and maybe even converting to an electric PTO... Kurt-NEPA 755 #3 Posted July 17, 2019 I've followed a number of projects that did the swap. Seemed straight forward. A search should pick up several threads. If memory serves me (and that is a big if). You need to pick up the engine about 1-1/4 to line up the shaft. I think the output shaft is 1" OD. You can get 1" to 1-1/8" adapter with a extra wide key on flea bay so you can used the original PTO. You also need to get creative with the muffler. I know some have used the original PTO with some fabrication work and reported good luck. But there is concern over putting the PTO thrust on an engine without thrust bearings. I have not seen a long term result from doing this. An electric is always an option. If you decide to do this swap, keep us posted. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
