ZXT 2,401 #1 Posted July 1, 2019 Found a guy selling a tiller on FB marketplace . Went to his place to pick it up, and found that he had the C160 that the tiller came off of. Long story short, both of them came home with me. Cleaned the points, put a battery on it and it started up and idled. Need to clean the carb, as it won't take throttle. Runs good otherwise with no smoke. Hydro unit has obvious leaks but it moved the tractor back and forth in my bed. The hydraulic lift for the tiller works well. It has one ag tire on a factory wheel and a turf tire on another, much wider than stock wheel. Turf tire is trash, ag is good. Front tires leak but are serviceable. One hub is loose so I'll have to look into how bad the axle is. Forgot to snap a picture of the tiller, but it is in great shape and still has paint on the tines. I don't believe it was used much. 5
Pullstart 66,594 #2 Posted July 1, 2019 Congrats! Everything’s bigger in TX, that 16 horse thumper is going to be awesome!
oliver2-44 10,679 #3 Posted July 1, 2019 Great find. These seem to be a slight more WH,s in the greater Dallas FtWorth area than down here in the Marble Falls Austin area. I did some lot leveling with A front dozer blade and had chains on my C-160. It was amazing what it would push. The soil was just slightly damp which made it perfect for digging. Let me know if you ever decide to sell that C-160 or GT-4. I’d give them a good partial retirement home

peter lena 9,231 #6 Posted July 1, 2019 ZXT great pick up on that , i can also sense the " need to save that horse " , if i had more space and time i would be add more of my own. knowing the build strength and the steel involved makes you want to save it. 3 is my limit on horses, space and other things to do stops me . but those of us with the bug , can truly relate. good luck , pete

I’ve seen more pop up in the last month or two than in the past year. i found what I believe to be an RJ or a Suburban (not too familiar with them) down near you yesterday as well. I can send you the link to it if you’re interested.
oliver2-44 10,679 #10 Posted July 1, 2019 (edited) Yes @ZXT PM me the link. If it's the RJ out by Buchanan Dam that says its had a bolt by bolt restoration, its an over priced rattle can job with some questionable repairs.
