953 nut 51,682 #1 Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) My wife had a birthday recently and she has been looking at metal roosters to put up next to the outhouse for several years but has had the good judgement to not pay several hundred dollars for one. A few weeks ago I started working on one for her with a frame of #8 galvanized steel wire and skinned with copper (sort of like the statue of liberty). Before I took off for the Big Show the finishing touches were put on it and I spritzed it with salt water to get some patina going. If I must say so I think it came out well. So, if you cant decide what to get someone you may want to build them a copper roster! Edited June 27, 2019 by 953 nut fat finger 10 5 1

Some times the packaging can be better than the gift. For several years I would construct oddball packaging with a couple pairs of socks in them, she loved them.
